The name Beachside Stories makes me think of white sandy beaches,cocktails,laid back days with beautifully crafted sandals.
Well Beachside Stories is a company, based in Greece, who currently specializes in making custom made sandals fitting in perfectly with my image of the name.
The great thing is that you can tell them what you want i.e.the color,the style and the type of occasion that the sandal is meant for,and they will make it to your specifications.The great thing about these shoes is that they are fashionable and gorgeous at the same time.The designs are unique and on trend with what happens in the fashion industry.
The owner,Alexandra Gazijants,has been part of the fashion industry for many years and by trade is in fact a journalist,so I am quite honored to be writing a review about her and her company.She was based in London for more than 10 years working with various glossy magazines,doing the PR for fashion,including the London Fashion Week.She has since diversified her interest to include PR work for other brands through a business of hers,International Fashion Designers Group(IFDG)-she has created facebook page for them.This page is for fashion designers who she has connected with and her aim is to market their brand by styling celebrities with their clothes.She is a force to be reckoned with,working on her own creating these sandals,while managing her other business interests.This woman is multi talented-if they were to hand out an Oscar for talent and diversification ,she would definitely win one.
She has also designed some jewellery! I cannot wait to introduce you to the range-I am so excited.
Now lets get back to the sandals! Alexandra is such a humble person,who cannot see the beauty in her creations.To quote her "So far the sandals has been a hit.I didn't expect it as there are similar sandals available but I use other techniques and concepts ." And its because of her techniques,such as decorating each pair of sandals herself (by hand),that makes these sandals even more stunning.Each pair is handcrafted in genuine leather.I was able to try the sandals on and I must say that these sandals are so comfortable.You forget that you're even wearing shoes.Each pair that I tried on is different in design and the quality in the workmanship is exceptional.
