Checks/Plaids are once again one of the IN prints of FALL/WINTER 2018. Last year it was all about the nude checks like gray, beige, etc. This season the checks are nude, bright and bold. I love how designers were mixing and matching the different color plaids in one outfit on the runways. Very soon I'll show you how this can be done. My closet is full of different plaid clothing because I've always loved this timeless print.
This checkered set from SHEIN is so feminine and stylish. The short top has this frilly detailing running across the armhole and the hemline. The top is short like a cropped top design and this is so perfect for the high waisted pants.
The pants has a narrow leg and a self tie belt. Sets are so versatile and therefore this pants can be styled with so many other clothing in my closet.
I've styled it with a black mesh turtleneck top and black shoes. My red Chanel bag adds the splash of color to complete this look.
The best part of gray is that you can combine it with so many colors imaginable.
This outfit can also easily be layered by wearing a coat over the shoulders, etc
