In celebration of BLACK FRIDAY  and CYBER MONDAY 2016, here is a special offer that you would not want to miss !!! https://www.stylewe.com/deals/ black-friday-and-cyber-monday/ dresses.html

Hi everyone!!
I just wanted to share with you a very personal achievement. Fellow Bloggers and fashionistas, all of you know how difficult it is to get recognised among so many, many Bloggers. I had no idea that this day would come where I could also have a say on Fashion and Style, other than my social channels, and it would matter. This changed when I was approached by Suzanne Bearne, contributing writer of DEBRIEF magazine in the United Kingdom.
There is nothing else that I can say to express my gratitude because I am very passionate about what I do and am truly humbled to have been recognised in such a manner by a magazine based outside of Greece.
Thank you to ALL you beautiful readers and followers/subscribers of my blog.
Thank you,  Kostas Paganis, my life partner aka photographer who has the ability to execute my vision without formal training in photography. I am truly honored to have you by my side. I am so excited about what the future hold for us in this industry.

A Big thank you to Raylynn Adriaanse, she's been the one who generously offered to proof read my work, before I post it on my blog, to ensure that the true essence of my blog is understood. How blessed am I to have someone as beautiful and savvy by my side?

As with ALL other educational institutes comes to the year end, it was no exception with his academy,
I actually want to tell you on the selected Fashion designers who was involved in this EVENT.
If you have not read my previous blog posts on Fashion Shows, read all about it here;https://charlotteniki.blogspot.gr/search/label/FASHION%20SHOWS
It comes as no surprise that the Designer Duo Chris&Tonia were selected to participate.
I don't know if I can call me a "groupie" of the Chris&Tonia designer duo , lol but hey I am definitely their number1 Fan.
This is me and fashion designer Chris Stratikopoulos. See how starstruck I am lol.
Let me tell you about the venue. Balux Prive in Athens, Greece is a hotel with the most spectacular view. It was a  halfway open air show and the weather was just perfect. The picture below gives you an idea of how easy it is to step down from on the porch and literally be right on the beach.
Enough about the view and the venue, I am going to show you a few items of various designers which I liked the most. Remember this was a Summer fashion show, so it is all about colors and silhouettes which we are seeing on the fashion radar now.
1.Chris&Tonia
Don't you just love how colorful this collection is? The flower headbands really made me feel in love with this season - SUMMER !!!

2.XARA
This designers work really intrigued me. I just love the use of print and color in these designs. Pop art is definitely what this collection is all about. I find it fascinating as to how modern, chic and yet quirky these  designs are. Here are a few of  her designs - My favorites in her collection of course.

3.MILTOS
As much as we associate summer with endless days of fun in the sun, it is also a time for lots of parties and celebrations. How often do we women need cocktail dresses, that are easy, comfortable, sexy and chic? This designer really embodied that in her black&white collection.

4.PANOS
I've been to Panos Fall/Winter Fashion show during the 19thAthensXclusiveDesignersWeek. In my opinion, his designs are very commercial., which is a good thing. It is very much about what is in fashion NOW and what fashionistas want . I chose these two designs because these were the silhouettes and color and prints he used in this collection. I really love the maxi dress. So eezy- breezy and beautiful.
5.EVITA SPOSA
What is a Summer season without weddings? These gorgeous Bridal gowns were beautifully modeled by the Cristi Models. The models were so poised and there were a variety of different designs suited for everyone's taste.
Here are a few designs that stood out for me the most.
I hope that you will enjoyed reading my post as much as I had enjoyed the evening. It was a very pleasant evening. Great ambiance, great people and a great view,

It was the showing of Fall/winter-2016/2017 during the 19th AthensXclusiveDesignersWeek.
When you attend a fashion show, are you like me, excited to see what will be next on the fashion radar for the upcoming seasons? Don't you just love it when you see something totally unexpected and new? Well this is exactly how I felt after watching the designers DUO, Chris&Tonia's show.
If you have not seen my previous review on this designer DUO, click here to read that review :http://charlotteniki.blogspot.gr/2015/10/18thathensxclusivedesignersweek.html . Once you have read that review you will definitely understand and see why I was excited to be at this year's fashion show. The previous show (which was only their second showing in the  AthensXclusiveDesignersWeek) was beautiful but somewhat "safe". This time around there were so much more design into every single piece that was presented and I am glad to say that they have pushed themselves out of the comfort zone and yet the pieces are not over designed, which I love.

If you are still set into your  minimalist fashion zone this summer, get ready for a transition into a Fall/Winter of BOLD colors, SHARP, structured shoulders, corseted WAISTLINES, lots of VOLUME and OVERSIZED street-wear. Chris&Tonia nailed it and are so on par with what is predicted for Fashion for the next few seasons.

The pictures highlights the structured, sharp shoulders, the waistlines and lots of volume which I mentioned earlier.

Let me introduce you to THIS color-scheme that is so on point because these are the color palettes you as fashionistas will be adding to your wardrobe soon.
DIVER-(evolves from dark teal into deeper blue tonalities)
BURGUNDY -(the most important color in the jewel tone color palette. Also magenta, tangerine and salmon.)
PASTEL PALETTES -(Dust/Grey . incorporate ceramic pink and biscuit)

Open yourself up to Duster Coats, Sleeveles Coates, Stoles, Midi dresses, Capes because THIS is what we will be wearing during  Fall/Winter to come.
Fabrics like PVC, sheer organzas, wool and fur, to name but a few, will bee seen everywhere in clothes .
Details such as pleats/folds , panels, bell sleeves are also some of the details in clothing for the next seasons. Do you see how much volume it can add to our outfits?

I just love a good pants suit with a bit of difference. I love the use of different fabrics combined in the suit. The soft velvet with the structured, wool is amazing. The zipper details on these pants are superb.

I am so excited to continue on this fashion design journey with two of the nicest and talented people I know . The future is bright and I cannot wait to see what is next for this designer Duo.

And then there were the two NEW designers who's work I haven't seen before but I was quite intrigued and I can just imagine how much more they have to offer in their Fashion Shows ahead
1.Christina Teligiannidou
Her designs are so evident of The Spanish/Latin influence on fashion currently.  The ruffles and tiers reminds one of the Latin Flamingo dancers and that is exactly what we are seeing out there.
Notice the high collars and sheer fabrics. This is the Victorian style influence in blouses and dresses of Fall/Winter - 2016/2017. Here are a few of her designs.

2,Euphrosyne Vlassi
She has a definite point of view and her designs speak to the young, fun loving individual who has    a bit of a edge. I loved the black and gold sequence outfits. It was refreshing to see a few male designs as well.
